The 15th of March 2025 marked a historic milestone for the FGC Okigwe 2001 Set as we officially broke ground on the new digital skills laboratory. Set officers, donors, and school management gathered on-site to witness the beginning of a project years in the making.
The laboratory, when complete, will house 40 computer workstations, high-speed internet infrastructure, and a dedicated coding and robotics corner for junior students. Our vision is simple: no FGC Okigwe student should graduate without exposure to the tools that define the 21st-century economy.
Foundation work is expected to take six to eight weeks, after which the structural frame will be erected. We are on schedule and on budget, thanks to the generosity of every single donor who believed in this mission.
